Maybe because the last game of the season is a Sunday and Erkan Fish Bar is CLOSED

Revenge of black cat @Mastini
@davidgold
Hi David any chance the FA will reconsider our last fixtures so that the last game is a home fixture?

David Gold retweeted Revenge of black cat
It's not the FA who sets the fixture list it's the Premier League. dg David Gold added,

The fixture man just said on Talksport that we requested it.

We did request it. Gold0 is as usual mugging off fans with a pedantic non-answer.

Will there be any type of "farewell match" or some sort of friendly being played? I could see the owners bringing back a host of ex legends to compete in a match before its all done and dusted. ( Dailly and Repka, Dowie etc)

Re: Apparently we asked to have our last home game on the penultimate weekend of the season
It may have been that they wanted to have some Saturday night function after the last game rather than a Sunday one.

Or the Upton Park Mega Mosque could be open for Friday prayers before the last weekend given this EVENTUALITY.

Because it has a better chance of being picked up for TV so more West Ham fans can witness it live....

Probably all part of Gold and Sullivans plan to stage some sort of exhibition match as the last game, charging a fortune for tickets and keeping the revenue for themselves

Sullivan has seemed to suggest that the Swansea game is the FINAL game, so we'll see.

I'd like Nobes testimonial to be the first at the OS as I guess they'd need a drill of some kind.

Have we bought enough days to host friendlies there? That's actually a serious question as we've only bought 22 I thought.

Apparently nothing to do with Sky, the ground is being handed over to the new owners the last week of the PL season according to this architect.

@ExWHUemployee the hand over date for the stadium to galliard and barratt homes is that week. Tv special is a smoke screen.

I'm told club wanted to maximise the final week of season for commercial and corporate reasons. Handover contract had been set for Monday after PL season ends.

Is the sale of Upton Park definitely being used to wipe the clubs debt?

What?

Re: Apparently we asked to have our last home game on the penultimate weekend of the season
I think, based on stuff posted on here and in the press around the time we signed the OS deal, that we have only bought 22 matchdays in our tenancy agreement.

I'm sure this can be extended were we to have a good cup run, but I presume at a cost, so I'm not sure we would waste "days" on friendlies. Maybe one prestige friendly against the Dog and Duck Portugal or whoever we played the other year.

Gavros will know.

No, we didn't make nearly enough money on UP to wipe out the debt. Most debt, if not all now is payable to BERKS Inc anyway, which is arguably better than the banks.

I can honestly say I have never read or heard anything like that.

What about youth cups games etc etc, training sessions etc etc

I was under the impression we are anchor tenants and have first use of the ground during the football season as and when we need it.

Doubt we would have to pay more as the "owners" get the lion share of shit sold etc etc

Johnson 12:39 Thu Jun 18
Re: Apparently we asked to have our last home game on the penultimate weekend of the season
But we're not paying for policing or stewarding apparently hence why it would be more for more games. They would have had to base it on something to cost it out.

Here we go, took two seconds:

This article says 25 days, I know Gavros knows all about this shit, he'll tell us when he's on.
